Lunch at The Ark – by Dorothy C Smith

Hello friend, I cannot stay long for a chat today,
I'm off to The Ark, for lunch you see.
Oh!  Why not come along with me.
You've never been!  Well, you've missed a treat.
It's easy to find, it's on St Thomas Street.

The food is too tempting ... all fresh made.
The little tables nicely laid.
There's coffee, cream teas, and wonderful soups!
There's a shop in the back, where you can look
For that special card, a gift or a book.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming.
So come on friend – let's go right in.
