The new Weather Vane and some of its creators

The new weather vane was designed to point into the wind (the previous one just rotated) and to move quietly (the previous one squeaked). We are very grateful to Jonathan Bradbeer who masterminded the project, drawing on local skills and goodwill.
The ship (drawn by Jonathan Rodgers) is the Lentune, which is at the heart of the Lymington town crest. The centre of the Lentune is a cross (formed by the spar and mast), a fitting pinnacle for our parish church.
